• A welcome message from Mayor Hamish McDouall, W&P agribusiness strategic lead Colleen Sheldon & branch president Clare Adkins.
• Meet with Whanganui agribusiness leaders and fellow RWNZ members.
Venue: Whanganui iSite Visitor Information Centre, 31 Taupo Quay
Time: 6.00pm – 7.15pm

Return to Hikurangi Stay Place for homemade soup and buns
Saturday 12 June – daytime
9.00am – 10.30am: Business session – including a talk from RWNZ National President Gill Naylor
11.00am – 1.00pm – Whanganui River Traders & Farmers Market, Whanganui discovery morning and lunch (at your own cost)
1.00pm – 2.00pm: Paige’s Bookshop (includes Lockert Gallery) for talk and nibbles, 60 Guyton Street.
2.15pm – 3.30pm: Double decker bus trip to see the Whanganui Walls (2019 & 2021 murals) as well as a local historian talking about Whanganui’s unique heritage (depart Paige’s Bookshop, return Hikurangi Stay Place) – $10.00
3.30pm – 4.30pm: Free time to make way to Taupo Quay for Wairua Vessel
Saturday 12 June – evening
4.30pm – 8.30pm: Upokongaro Meal Cruise Package (4hrs) Warm clothing essential
• Boarding the Wairua vessel at Taupo Quay for an historic trip up the Whanganui River to Upokongaro Village.
• Dinner at Riverboat Café & Bar (2hr buffet meal)
• Dinner guest speaker – Mel Poulton, Special Agricultural Trade Envoy and driving force behind Connect Tararua.
Cruise back to Taupo Quay. – $75.00

Sunday 13 June – morning – guest speaker – Angus Marks … investment, charities growing their reserves and retirement income.
9.00am – 9.30am: Hadleigh Reid, local councillor and dentist will talk about his career, work on the Mercy Ship, and passion for saving heritage buildings and his vision for Whanganui
9.30am – 10.00am: Feldenkrais with Katharina Schaffaczek
10.00am – 10.30am: Morning tea
10.30am – 11.00am: Steve Carey introduces the Robert Bartley Foundation Initiative, taking health services on a bus to rural communities across the wider Whanganui area
11.00am – 11.30am: Angus Mark from Jarden Securities will talk about investment, retirement income and charities
11.30am – 11.45am: Conference final wrap up and depart
